In my third year, we chose a brief to work on as a part of The Agency module. Patch stood out to me from YCN, because it allowed me to be my most creative. We had to come up with a concept where we would get Millennials to buy plants that best suit them. My idea was to create an AR app that allows users to scan their room and take a questionnaire based on their preferences. The Patch App then chooses the right plant for the room. In addition, I developed the idea for Patch to collaborate with LUA Smart Planter.

In 2020, COVID-19 changed day to day life drastically for all of us. In my third year, my team and I were tasked to come up with a creative concept that would get students at the University of West London walking or cycling instead of taking the shuttle bus to and from campus. This brief was both challenging and rewarding, as it allowed me and my group to think outside the box. Our final concept revolved around the idea of ‘adopting’ a local bicycle via an app.

I have worked on many Hertz briefs over the years, but this brief was my favourite. I created an app where customers can choose the car they like, scan the QR code and see themselves drive off through the VR headset. It allows customers get an idea of the driving experience and helps them decide what model they like.
